Who do you miss?

I recently had a response to this blog from an old student. Richard wanted to tell his old classmates hi. Cool. I love hearing from old students. A few years ago I got a message from a student I had my first year of teaching. That was great! So it got me to thinking.

If you are an alumnus just checking out the school website, leave a message here. Tell us what you are up to. What became of you. How are you doing. Those types of things. We'd love to hear from you.

If you are a present student, leave a message too. A lot of classmates have moved from the district or graduated or choiced into other schools. Tell us whom you miss. A favorite memory about a favorite friend now not in the class. We'd love to read those stories too.

I was just checking out the athletic schedule for the year. I really like the updated website for the school district. Hope all is well in the world of the Butternut school. I might pop in and say hi soon.

Hey Jim - What's up? Do you even check this anymore? Aren't bloggers suppose to blog? You're a writer after all, write. Tell us an interesting story. I'll be checking in. Tell us a good one.

Well I'm not a former or current student so maybe I shouldn't have left the prior comment. But Mr. Babler is a great storyteller so if any of his students read this, make him tell you a story. He has plenty and they are highly amusing and can lead to interesting conversations about life. Just a thought... Happy writing.

Good to hear from a former colleague. How's life in the new district? Still coaching? Lots of new faces around here, both on the staff and in the student body. A good year mostly.

I see Evan is fighting off some injuries at UW-M. Do you see many games?

I only update when someone replies. It isn't very often. I guess blogs have already become blase.

Write again.
